Dissolving programs with awareness

Blog Post No. 16

Awareness is key. Only with awareness we can effectively recognize programs in ourselves and in others. But first one has to innerstand what programs are before one can perceive them for what they are.

Essentially, programs are everything we are not. Meaning every fear, every belief system, every distortion or trauma reaction that throws us off balance or takes away our innate stability and clarity.

Programs are everything that does not come from our true nature.

How to become more aware?

It's all about inner work and practice! Shedding all the programmed layers of who you are not takes a lot of commitment to inner work and perseverance.

Becoming aware literally means remembering and re-embodying who you are. In other words, there is nothing new to learn here – the goal is to remember who you are. During the remembering process there is work to do, because the installed layers are quite sticky and tricky to remove.

Here is an example: One of the most common programs is autopilot mode. Whenever we are in autopilot mode, we are unconscious – i.e. our consciousness is overwritten by this program. Through awareness and realization, we can recognize what is happening in these moments. Awareness is the key to bringing our own consciousness forward again.

Becoming aware literally means remembering and re-embodying who you are.

Dissolving programs such as autopilot mode requires a lot of willpower and commitment, as these and other programs are very deeply embedded in us and there are many layers to consider.

I am aware that I am often repeating myself, and I am very adamant to say that long-term commitment is necessary for inner work.

Dedicating yourself to inner work can sometimes feel overwhelming, like climbing a high mountain you've never climbed before. It's a process of working your way closer and closer to the summit. Until you finally reach it. Until you finally reach it. Looking at things from a bird's eye view allows you to see yourself and life from a whole new perspective.

Awareness and programs

Programs are pretty good at hiding, hence we call them our blind spots.

Becoming aware of a program does not necessarily dissolve it. It is your intention, your clear demand and your commitment to the inner work that lead to the dissolution of a program. Depending on your level of awareness, only some layers of a program may be dissolved, but not the whole thing. Programs are pretty good at hiding, hence we call them our blind spots.

Awareness is a crucial key and a major or minor stepping stone in the dissolution of programs, depending on how strong your awareness is online. And this is exactly where practice and inner work is necessary – to strengthen and sharpen your awareness, i.e. to remember your innate ability.

Components that are important in this process

Here is a brief summary of the components on the way to dissolving programs:

  • Knowledge of what programs are

  • Sharp and strong awareness

  • Intention and ability to demand

  • Commitment to practice and inner work

  • Experience
