Self-acceptance – Being okay with yourself with no exception

In the world of spirituality, New Age and self-development, I observe that terms such as self-love, unconditional love and oneness are used so casually that the true meaning often loses its potency. That is why I will introduce the term “Self-acceptance with no exception” in this text – and in my spoken language.

“Self-acceptance with no exception” is indeed unconditional self-love. Accepting yourself without exceptions means being absolutely and one hundred percent okay with yourself at any given time. And this may be a process – well, it certainly is for me.

You are absolutely not alone with having non-self-accepting behaviors!

And again, you are not alone with this! I would argue that we all have non-self-accepting behaviors to different degrees – and the reason for it may be the reality we are living in…

First of all, it is important to become conscious of your personal non-self-accepting behaviors – meaning negative self-talk, toxic perfectionism, self-sabotages e.g. with food, sport, body shape or look, and any other self-punishments and toxic actions. This also includes any unconscious behaviors based on traumas, belief systems and thought programs – towards yourself and with other people e.i. people pleasing, narcissism etc. All those behaviors are based on unconscious programming – they are not natural to us. Depending on your personality i.e. identity in this reality, how much inner work you have done or your level of honesty towards yourself, you will choose your individual path of healing – without judgement. To me, it was always important to address non-self-accepting topics very straightforward and directly – without sugarcoating anything.

Every time I have the opportunity to observe the whooper swans here, I am in awe of how majestic these beings are. I really enjoy the way they present themselves and I can sense a deep, self-accepting radiance from them. Remember, a lot of truth can be found out just by observing nature.

Why is it important to accept yourself with no exception?

Exceptions and conditions will always dim your true power. They hold you down. They distract you from remembering who you are. In order to unlock your true power, it is essential to do the inner work of healing and accepting yourself with no exceptions.

Remember your powerful true essence by fully accepting yourself with no exceptions.


Inspiration on how to work on your non-self-accepting behaviors

As I mentioned above, you need to become conscious of your behaviors first. Here are some simple but effective ideas: journaling and self-reflection, meditation, self-observation, observation of your thoughts and emotions as well as observation of your self-talk. Additionally, I would recommend to spend some time alone i.e. going to a place away from your day-to-day life and away from people you know.

When you step out of your comfort zone by spending time alone, your unconscious non-self-accepting behaviors will reveal themselves.

I noticed that alone time is very effective to become aware of unconscious behaviors. Personally, I have many experiences on spending time alone during the recent years – if you have any questions or need some guidance, feel free to reach out!

Additionally, I have found that working with a competent person, such as a mentor or teacher, has been and still is very helpful and transformative. In my experience, this has really expedited my process of healing and self-acceptance. Remember, you are not alone in this process and it is okay to reach out for guidance!

Some closing words for you:

Remember, this is a process – there is no need to be perfect!

Be kind to yourself. Understand, or rather innerstand, that the non-self-accepting program is installed in your headspace – it is a mind program. However, by reconnecting to your heart space, you will realize more and more of your true inner power. Also, by reconnecting with your heart, you may remember that “self-acceptance with no exception” is our natural state of being. Anything that tells you otherwise is an artificial overlay i.e. program.

“Self-acceptance with no exception” is the natural state of a soul being.
