The power of authenticity

Blog Post No. 14

Authenticity is a powerful quality of being true, genuine and real towards self and others. It is the ability to embody who you are and reveal your truth to the world.

Authenticity is a gateway to becoming who you are. Being able to become truly authentic liberates one’s innate strength and a feeling of inner security in this world. When someone stands by their own authenticity, they increase their self-confidence simultaneously. Authenticity is a quality that unlocks trust, power and self-reliance from within.

The moment one feels safe inside, the path to becoming authentic gets easier to navigate.

Authenticity requires self-acceptance

Being truly authentic requires a deep sense of inner connection. You need to know who you are before you can authentically embody your essence. Therefore, inner connection is the key and the first aspect to pursue on the path to true authenticity.

Cultivating inner connection involves the element of sincere self-acceptance. In order to really being connected within you need to accept yourself with no exceptions.

Being truly authentic requires a deep sense of inner connection and self-acceptance.

To navigate the labyrinth of life authentically to self, you need to find balance between walking the path alone and asking for external guidance.

The program of being non-authentic

One’s tendency of being non-authentic is a program based on fear. Every time you wear a certain mask playing an inauthentic character in this world, you are most likely running an unconscious program, e.g. what do others think of me or any other belief system based on insecurity.

These subconscious programs subtly trigger self-sabotaging behaviors that interfere with our innate desire to become who we truly are. Self-sabotage blocks the potential to truly stand in our own power and authenticity.

Real authenticity vs. fake authenticity

The fact that someone believes they are authentic does not necessarily mean that they are actually authentic. These mere beliefs or feelings can also be generated by subconscious programs.

Merely believing that you are authentic does not necessarily mean that you are connected to your true nature i.e. being genuinely authentic. Note that these beliefs, i.e. programs, can infiltrate the mind and your feelings. If authenticity remains only in the mind or on the emotional surface, there is no deeper connection within, i.e. it does not come from a pure natural source.

Pure authenticity is revealed through a deep inner connection and by remembering who you really are in essence.

Authenticity can sometimes feel like it comes from the ego – and yes, that's true. There is a fine line between true authenticity, which comes from the genuine and healthy ego (yes, the ego itself is not the bad guy!), and the inflated and toxic ego. The inflated ego is the programmed and unnatural ego. However, there is also our healthy and natural ego, which is our sharp mind and bullshit detector in this world – which we absolutely need! You will feel the difference between the egos once you understand the concept of programs. More on this in a later article.

What is the point of being authentic?

It activates the feeling of liberation. Authenticity sets you free and opens the channel to remember who you really are.
